Living life to the full, in Nueva Andalucia, Marbella. The prime residential location in Marbella.

LIfe in Marbella is pretty unbeatable. Sunny 340 days a year. A temperate climate. Excellent schools. Superb hospitals and medical care. Incredible transport links to Europe, through Malaga airport 30 minutes away or the AVE 300km train system from Malaga to Madrid and Europe beyond. Skiing within 2.5 hours in Sierra Nevada.

Lots of clients have asked us over the years where is the best place to live in Marbella?

There is the beautiful gated community of La Zagaleta, set amongst the cork trees on the Ronda Road. Or the majestic villas in the development of Sierra Blanca, or its stunning low key rustic neighbour of Cascada Camojan, both superb options.

Or who can forget the world renowned Marbella Club and Puente Romano hotels and the Golden Mile of multi million euro properties.

However, for us number one is without doubt, Nueva Andalucia. Surrounded by four world class Golf courses, of Las Brisas, Los Naranjos, La Quinta and Aloha, it is set in a sunny green valley with mature trees and planting, well maintained streets and street lighting, which is not always a given in Spain. The area is 1 kilometre north of Puerto Banus, with Las Brisas in the south to La Quinta further out to the north. Amongst these areas are exclusive gated communities such as El Herrojo, set in the hills of La Quinta and Vega Del Colorado, offering some of the best views in Marbella. A personal favourite is La Cerquilla, minutes from Puerto Banus but offering large mature plots and discreet privacy.

Nueva Andalucia is unusually for Marbella a residential area, so all year round there is a community feel and a buzz.

It is helped that it is close to two excellent International Schools,

Aloha College and Laude International and this has made it an excellent choice for families relocating.

Nueva Andalucia has flourished in the last 40 years. It has become a higher sort after location for buyers and tenants. Holiday rentals in Nueva Andalucia are in high demand and often obtain premium prices.

The market has strengthened significantly in the last 3 years. Owners are seeing quick sales and investors are looking at older properties to renovate or demolish. There is a demand unseen for at least 8 years, and that is leading to firmer prices. As land is becoming scarce in Marbella and Puerto Banus, clients looking for newer properties in prime locations are having to resort to renovating older properties. So if you have been considering investing in Nueva Andalucia do not wait any longer....
